If you hook a 120v inverter to the batteries does the car
automaticly start when batteries are low.

What can a prius safely generate with an inverter to run 120v
apliances, in winter with the hood open components would have less
stress on them from cold air cooling.

Can it safely run a 120v 1000w inverter but with load 350- 600 w
average.

Will the Prius record the KW of electricity generated over several
days for you to monitor

I know anything voids a warranty, thats not the issue. I read about
people using them when the grid is down to lightly power a house, I
have a gen and transfer panel I installed so I know a bit about being
all around safe. Im just curious and dont own a Prius, but if it can
be done safely it will be done by many as storms knock out power.

You might want to repost this in alt.autos.toyota.prius. There are some
rather knowledgeable folks there that just might know this.
